Basel with Oma and Opa (April 2015)

Oma and Opa came to Europe for a month. In other posts, you will find pictures of explorations outside of Basel. Here are some pictures of their time within Basel.

On Swiss Beer Day, we visited a local brewery, Feldschlösschen, Swiss's leading beer company. Their brewery is in an old castle, hence the name Feldschlösschen.

Basel used to be the paper making capital. We visited the Paper Museum and made our own paper.

We made a "Three Country Day" where we ate each meal in a different country. We started with breakfast in France at a local patisserie. Then lunch in Germany and dinner back at home in Switzerland.

A break from the winter...Tenerife

Back in February, Damian's brother and his family were vacationing in the Canary Islands so we stopped by to visit with them. Madeline met her cousins and aunt and uncle!
